"Capturing special moments in time"

Portraits provide cherished memories for all genres of people. Capturing these memories and using them as wall decor in our homes help us to cherish these special moments as time passes.
Portrait sittings can take place in John's studio (located in Headford, Co.Galway), or on location. All portrait sittings are by appointment only and customers will be provided with some guidelines regarding what to wear and some general pointers to ensure you get the most from your photo-shoot.
Photos can be presented in a variety of frames, or canvas wraps. Indeed, images can be adjusted to ensure that they blend in with the decor of the room that they are located in. Every room is different, and images look their best when they match the decor of the room in which they are located. As all of John's work is captured digitally, this type of manipulation is possible on all images recorded. All canvas wraps provided are professionally printed and stretched as well as being treated to ensure that colours remain vibrant, crisp and sharp. A matte varnish finish ensures that images will last a life time and that dust and light will not effect the canvas.
A Photo-Shoot in Johns studio costs €50. A sitting usually lasts for approximately an hour (there is no extra charge if we run overtime). This price also includes any processing work that John carries out on all photos taken as well as a viewing session afterwards so that images can be viewed on a large screen in high quality. As all of Johns work is recorded with top of the range professional digital cameras and lenses, it enables John to manipulate images by getting rid of small skin blemishes, brightening teeth/eyes, or indeed by changing colour images to black & white.
In relation to baby/young children photography, if any of the children are not at their best on the day of the shoot, or if a parent is unhappy with the behaviour of their child, John will gladly offer another free shoot at a future date that suits. John has three young children and is aware of some of the the difficulties that can naturally occur in their daily lives.
